A short video of an Elkhorn coral I spotted recently off Dania Beach. This species is critically endangered, which is one step away from Extinct in the Wild. I was really happy to find such a rare coral looking pretty healthy off the busy Florida coast. I will be keeping an eye on it from now on. Ironically, this species is extending it's range northward as a result of our changing climate.
