Today I bring you something a little special and a cause that is personal to me. Today I show you how to make a small padded 'mended' heart but you can either sew up the heart as shown or sew as normal for a complete heart shape.
HappyBerry has teamed up with Little Hearts Matter, a charity that is focussed on raising awareness and much needed funds to support families dealing with congenital heart defects of which my own grandfather eventually passed away from. My Grandmother is also currently under-going major heart surgery at this time.
Many babies born with half a heart need open heart surgery within the first few weeks of their lives. So this October Little Hearts Matter and us at HappyBerry will be sharing some crafty ideas and patterns all relating to heart projects which you can sell or share to help support the charity.
