The Royal Society has produced a new set of videos and resources, presented by Professor Brian Cox, based around new and emerging STEM technologies. In this video, Brian joins a teacher to demonstrate a photosynthesis classroom activity, including set-up, demonstration and the experiment being taught with a secondary age science class.

This activity is based on an original activity, called Investigating Photosynthesis with Leaf Discs, designed by SAPS (Science & Plants for schools www.saps.org.uk) who have kindly agreed to its use in the Royal Society Brian Cox School Experiments.
The Royal Society is a Fellowship of many of the world's most eminent scientists and is the oldest scientific academy in continuous existence.
