A large herd of cattle was driven through the town of Carbondale, Colorado, on June 1, in order to reach their summer grazing grounds.
Barry Stevenson, who recorded this drone footage, said that “each spring, cattlemen drive their herds of cows and new calf’s through the center of town.”
“Although traffic is stopped for a few minutes, the local neighbors love that the tradition continues,” Stevenson said, adding that this “herd made the six-mile trip to their summer, mountain home in just a few hours.”
