This is a real world range test and review of a 2022 Tesla Model 3 RWD with an LFP Battery after supercharging to 100%.
The EPA rated range is 272 miles for the Model 3 RWD but after approximately 4,000 miles on the odometer, at the last full charge, it had an estimated 267 miles of range.
However, we were not able to achieve anything close to 267 miles of range during our 8 days of real world driving which include city and Highway mileage in the Los Angeles, California area, in part due to using Sentry Mode.
Range test was conducted from Friday, January 6, 2023 to Saturday, January 14, 2023 during rain and cold winter weather conditions in Southern California.
After the range test and supercharging session is complete, we will test out autopilot in the rain on the 405 Freeway in Los Angeles County.
We will continue trying to figure out how to maximize our range.
