In this tutorial on Premiere Pro, I'll show you show to change the sequence settings. When you start a new project in Premiere Pro by adding clips to the timeline, the sequence settings will automatically match the first clips data such as its dimension (HD, 2K or 4K), sample rate, frame rate, etc. So, if you add a HD clip (1920 x 1080) and then add 4K videos, then the sequence settings of the whole project will still be HD. In other words, the 4K videos will be downgraded to HD videos. Luckily, you could change the sequence settings so that your whole project will be 4K (3840 x 2160).

So, in this video, you'll learn how to change the editing mode, timebase, frame rate, size (width and height), sample rate. Selecting the correct editing mode is very important. Please don't confuse the "Frame Size" with the "Preview File Format". Frame Size is the actually size (4K, 2K, HD) and the video previews is just for preview while editing! Frame Size is set according to the "Editing Mode".
