Having put on over 20kg with both of my pregnancies I know how uncomfortable it can feel carrying extra baby weight. In this video I want to share with you how I lost the weight (both times) in a really stress free way. It wasn’t a quick fix but there was no deprivation or extreme dieting. It all came down to focusing on the specific needs we have as new mums and what we need to help the shift weight post baby:
- Eating in a way that supports our hormones and adrenal health
- How to make healthy eating easier (so you can do it on your most exhausted, unmotivated days – hey, they happen!)
I share lots of tips that have helped me and my clients as well as the 3 common mistakes I see Mums making that is really working against them.
I spent most of my 20’s on some pretty restrictive diets and health regimes so I understand the cycle of jumping on and off diets and never being able to sustain results. That’s why I love this approach so much! This way of eating has completely changed my health, my body and I know it can do the same for you too.
Beyond the nutrition, remember to be patient and have a bigger goal beyond weight loss to keep you consistent. The way you talk to and about yourself matters. Remind yourself everyday what amazing things your body has done/is doing for you (you grew and are raising a precious human!) and see how much better your start to feel about yourself.
