Rancid - Time Bomb - San Francisco, Live, Fri. 3-23-12, 1st row, The Warfield. Tim Armstrong throws the setlist right to me at the end of the song. After the show, the band invited everyone on their facebook to the after party at a bar down the street. Fun times :P


Other Tidbits:

Local radio station Live 105 was there early to hand out bandanas to everybody waiting in line. For Saturday's show, it was raining the entire afternoon on. It didn't stop people from lining up early, though..

I didn't get the setlist from the second night's show, but the guy who I was standing in line with from the first night and from the previous SF show in September got it. He probably caught Armstrong's eye because of his big spiked mohawk, which surprisingly stayed up throughout the night even though it was raining.

In fact, many of us first row fans recognized each other from waiting in line at the September, 10th Rancid show, in addition to other concerts. For this concert though, I was 1st row center, which meant that it was Grand Central Station for crowd surfers. I lost count how many times someone went over me.. Someone even goes over me at 2:12 during this song! The fans to my left, (who were actually the same 2 fans who were to my left 3 times in a row), joked that it keeps on happening because I'm too tall :P

Long-time fans of Cock Sparrer were there as well. There were even several children in the audience brought by their parents, which was not surprising considering this was also Cock Sparrer's 40th Anniversary. Before the show, someone in line humorously commented that "I bet their hit song 'What's It's Like to be Old' has a whole new meaning for them nowadays.." :P
