Jonny Southard is a pianist and composer inspired by landscapes, nature and the human condition. Drawing from the ambience of film soundtracks and the beauty of impressionism, he combines the two sound worlds in a modern framework.

Complementing this, a warm aura of folk drives the harmony, carrying a sense of soul into the music and reflecting the composer's sensitive outlook on the modern world. The underlying tone is, for the most part, dark and melancholic, yet the melodies that run parallel are bright, comforting and distinguished.
