More than 1 million men will undergo a prostate biopsy this year, but only about one-fifth of those biopsies will result in a cancer diagnosis. Now, a new urine test developed at the University of Michigan Health System called Mi-Prostate Score improves on traditional PSA screening for prostate cancer to help men and their doctors better decide when a biopsy is really necessary.
