Last fall, Premier Clark hosted an online conversation called Skills for BC (#Skills4BC) to raise awareness of opportunities for building BC's workforce and to encourage input from British Columbians.
"When I became Premier I said I wanted British Columbians to participate more easily in the politics and services that affect their lives," said Clark. "That's why we opened up the BC Jobs Plan website from the start, why we talked to citizens about economic development, their local workforce and growing sectors like natural gas."
500 British Columbians contributed to the Skills for BC discussion and almost 200 ideas were submitted. The #Ideas2Actions web portal profiles more than 100 government actions and the ideas that inspired them.
