Erika Jakobsone studied at Ogres music school with teacher Elga Klipa and then at Emils Darzins music school with Lelde Paula.

Erika has taken part in multiple competitions, some of which she has won awards and places for.

She has taken part in many masterclasses, including with Arnis Zandmanis, Naum Grubert, Stephan Imorde, Hamsa Al-Wadi Juris and more. Since the last year Erika has started studies in Jazeps Vitols Latvian Academy of Music with profesor Sergejs Osokins.
