Cal Club SCCA Autocross Mar 14-15 was a lot of fun. It was also the last event before the shut down with the COVID pandemic underway.
This video is from the competition day only. I unfortunately forgot to take any video from the actual competition, it being my first one I was all flustered and just focusing on the event. So the videos here are the "fun runs" at the end of the day where we all kind of self-regulate and get to just run the track over and over. The first run shown is a baseline that was actually slower than my competition best, then I show the progression to my best lap of the day. It was very frustrating as I was hoping to get a better time but after reviewing the videos I can see where I was losing the most time. That means I'm still learning, which means it was a successful event! Can't wait until the next one when this COVID-19 thing is behind us.
Changes from last event:
205 square tire set up (previously 195 front/205 rear)
TRD Sportivo front swaybar with factory rear swaybar (previously TRD also in rear)
Bride replica seat
I learned a lot about car control in this weekend and had a blast doing it. Really satisfied with the setup of the car for the most part.
