Roma Tomatoes Are Awesome And Easy To Grow! In this video, I'll show you how I plant my Roma Tomatoes in my summer garden for maximum success. Romas are a determinate variety of tomato. That is, they are a bush-type of plant that grows to a fixed size (large) and sets fruit within a short-ish window.

Romas however, are not like other bush tomatoes. They tend to grow long, and very large. In most setups, they cannot support their own weight and will need to be staked to grow properly as an adult plant. I'll show you from beginning to end how I plant my Roma Tomatoes in my garden including staking, actual planting, mulching, and watering.
