Surah 109: Al-Kâfirûn (The Disbelievers) - سورة الكافرون

This Meccan chapter was revealed in response to a proposal made by the leaders of Quraysh to the prophet Muhammad (pbuh). They offered to worship Allah alone for one year, if the prophet agreed to worship their idols for another year. The chapter makes it clear that he will only worship Allah, without any partners, and he will never compromise on this belief.
