On Sunday July 14th, 2024
Police were called to the Cunupia Branch of Pizza Boys and Rituals coffee shop after a shots were fired.
The deceased were identified as 24 y.o Dave Lyons, a coast guard officer of Alley Drive, Sea Trace, Diego Martin
35 y.o Earl Peters of Corner Savannah #z Road and Diego Martin Main and
22 y.o JahMarley Goddard, of Bagatelle Road, Diego Martin
Around 12:06pm, officers received information of a shooting in the vicinity of Rituals Coffee Shop along the Southern Main Road in Cunupia.
When they arrived at the scene, they observed a silver Subaru registered
PCB 3538 parked in the carpark, with multiple bullet holes.
They then discovered Lyons lifeless body lying on the ground outside the driver’s side of the vehicle bleeding from multiple gunshot injuries, while Peters who was in the front Passenger seat bleeding from gun shot injuries and Goddard who was in the back seat was also seen bleeding from a bullet to the head, and holding a cigarette.
The officers summoned a DMO to the scene who viewed the body, made their pronouncements and ordered the bodies to be removed to the Forensic Science Centre.
