The show is set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland and follows a motor-mouthed outsider who is given the chance to deliver a mysterious package in exchange for a better life. Will Arnett voices Sweet Tooth, with AEW superstar Samoa Joe physically embodying the character. The cast also includes Neve Campbell, Stephanie Beatriz, Thomas Haden Church, Mike Mitchell, Tahj Vaughans, and Lou Beatty Jr.

Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, the creative minds behind Zombieland and Deadpool, came up with the original take for the live-action series. Michael Jonathan Smith, known for his work on “Cobra Kai,” will write and show-run the “Twisted Metal” series, while Will Arnett and Marc Forman will serve as executive producers.

The “Twisted Metal” franchise first made its debut in 1995 and has since spawned several follow-ups and spinoffs. A movie adaptation was previously in the works but never materialized, making this upcoming television series all the more exciting.
