Perfectly Soft Jammy Eggs EVERY TIME | Don't Boil Them, Steam Them!

This method will give you lovely soft jammy eggs. This is the easiest egg cooking method I know to get it right every time. The secret is, you're not really boiling the eggs, instead you're steaming the eggs.
Steaming eggs means you get even heat from start to finish, regardless of how many eggs you're cooking at once.

Here is the synopsis:
How To Boil Eggs - Checklist
✅Use cold eggs
✅Use a small amount of boiling water (I usually have it on about a 6 on the stove)
✅Keep the lid on
✅Boil for 6.5 minutes
✅Rinse in cold water
How To Peel Boiled Eggs
-Don't use super fresh eggs, wait a few days after they exit the chicken
-Start peeling from the bottom (fat end) where there is an air pocket
-Use a spoon if things are really difficult
These are the kind of eggs that are runny enough to be freaking delicious but firm enough so that you don't end up with yolk all over your plate instead of in your mouth.
If you like your eggs a bit firmer, go for 7.5 minutes. If you prefer soft boiled eggs, try 6 minutes.
Soft steamed eggs (Jammy eggs) are just the thing on top of some toast or a fresh salad. It's an essential basic cooking technique and a great way to turn any salad, soup, or veggie dish into an easy dinner for one.
