A guitar lesson showing you how to play Blindsided by Bon Iver. Sign up to my guitartips newsletter at [ Ссылка ] to downoad the tab. You need a capo on the 3rd fret and the guitar's in standard tuning. Such sparse and haunting song. It makes me feel warm throughout the winter months. Enjoy.

Back down, down to the downtown. Down to
the lockdown... Boards, nails lie around
I crouch like a crow. Contrast in the
snow. For the agony I'd rather know
'Cause blinded, I was blindsided
Would you really rush out?
Would you really rush out?
Would you really rush out for me now?
Would you really rush out for me now?
Would you really rush out for me now?
The song I'm playing is the beautiful "Blindsided" by Bon Iver - really great song, great poetic lyrics, very sparse guitar playing. And a great one for a beginner, so you've been playing 4 or 5 months.

If you go to my website, which is learnguitarinlondon.com, I will have the tab up there, so it's sometimes a little bit easier to read the tab when there's a lot of, sort of, individual notes like that.
What I'm doing this time, is instead of strumming down, I'm strumming up.
Okay? It gives it this sort of wonderful, sort of magical sound
Okay. So you're making a C and then you're sliding that C shape up to
the 3rd fret.
What you can do is, you can do ghost strums with your right hand. And ghost strums are where you're essentially, yeah just not strumming but you're keeping time with that hand. It's a really good way of keeping tempo.
