The Obama administration has unveiled a new approach to missile defense in Europe, ending a Bush administration plan for deploying a missile shield in Poland and the Czech Republic. The administration says defense officials concluded that Iran's long-range missiles, for which the system was originally developed, are less of a threat to the U.S. and Europen allies than anticipated.
