Welcome to another special PianoTutorial! 🎄🎹
Today I would like to shed some light on Polish culture. This is one of the most beautiful Polish Christmas carol. In XIX-century Chopin used this carol in his First Scherzo in B minor Op. 20. This composition was created when he left his homeland, in 1833. It was supposed to remind him of Polish Christmas. The English translation of this carol is: Hush little Jesus.

TIPS:
- You can play along or after watching an excerpt.
- Remember that you can slow the video on YouTube options.
- Practice makes perfect. If you want to play better, repeat each excerpt 3 times - without any mistakes!
- Don’t focus for too long on one part. When you are a beginner is better to practice shorter chunks (2-4 bars). When you feel comfortable and you managed to memorize all notes, you can start to put smaller pieces together.
- Be aware of rhythmic mistakes. They are less noticeable to hear.
- If you can't play hands together, you can try tutorial again. Try to play along with an opposite hand (for example: playing left hand to right hands recording).
