Moringa Herbal Tea
Moringa also known as horseradish tree, drumstick tree, African moringa, and ben oil tree is natively grown in India, and also grown in Asia, Jamaica, South America and Africa. The tea can mostly be found at your nearest herbal store, West Indian among other grocery stores or online such as on Amazon. Moringa is available in capsule, powder, or leaves form.

Drinking Moringa every day may lead to a moderate reduction in blood sugar and cholesterol levels.
Studies show that insulin type proteins found in moringa can help lower blood sugar. Plant chemicals found in the leaves might help the body process sugar better, and it may affect how the body releases insulin.
Moringa has an antioxidant called quercetin which boosts your kidneys health and therefore beneficial to people suffering from kidney disease. These antioxidants support kidney functions and reduces inflammation. Taking moringa supplements is good but brewing and drinking the tea frequently makes it more potent by adding a pinch of black pepper and a teaspoon of natural coconut oil which is a healthy fat. This complements quercetin and makes it more effective in reducing inflammation in the kidney.
Tea Ingredients:
2 tbsp Moringa tea leaves
2 cups of water
1 tsp natural coconut oil
Instructions:
boil tea leaves for 3 minutes
then pour in tea in cup and add 1 tsp coconut oil and mix well.
