An overview and play through of Bang! Halo. This is the Halo themed take on the Bang! card game series, with some changes to game play.

Unlike Bang! There's no player elimination, which I think is better. I put together some house rules below for 2-7 player counts that is more thematic.

Correction:
Oddball on a respawning player still takes effect after the player has respawned and drawn two cards.

BGG: 5.9/10

Pros:
- Halo theme ties terrific with game mechanics
- feels just like Slayer
- game play is simple, quick and flows well
- easy to teach/learn
- specializations are unique and not one is over powered
- enhancement and action cards provide some strategic variety/planning

Cons:
- a lot of luck on card draws
- potential to gang up on a person
- no Covanent characters? No Master Chief or Arbiter? boo-urns

Personal verdict:
Happy with it - a fun Slayer battle! Pew Pew!


House Rules
For a more thematic game, here are some rule variations to make it more Halo-ish:

- no empty handed respawn
- all players start with 5 overshield tokens regardless of specialization
- players start with NO dog tags and you earn a dog tag per kill
- first player to reach a set number of kills (e.g. 2 Player game, first to 3 kills) wins
- when you are killed, you lose all enhancements and discard your hand
- on your turn you can only play one unique enhancement or action card (e.g. can't play 2 Firepower cards etc on the same turn)
- when you respawn, draw 4 cards instead of 2
- do not discard dog tags if main deck is shuffled
- ODDBALL card = if a weapon card is revealed and you don't have a weapon to discard and you don't have any dog tags, you take one damage instead then discard the ODDBALL card
