Gencoa have spent a more than five years working in the field of antimicrobial coatings that will significantly reduce the prevalence of healthcare acquired infections (HAIs). This work was expanded to include antiviral coatings following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The presentation by Victor Bellido-Gonzalez, recorded for SVC TechCon 2021, summarizes the work carried out in the research and development of coatings which have antimicrobial and antiviral properties. The presentation also contains details some of the supporting data.
