This video is the third section of AS Level Biological Molecules. It focuses on proteins, the structure of amino acids and how they come together through a condensation reaction to form a peptide bond, the different structures of proteins, their functions and some examples. In this video, I also mention the importance of haemoglobin referring specifically to its structure of having two alpha and two beta globin polypeptides. Each polypeptide has a haem group. Each haem group binds to an iron atom and each iron atom binds to an oxygen molecule. Note that one oxygen molecule has two atoms of oxygen,
