I've been gaming for three decades and while some of my favorite games take well over one hundred hours to beat it seems like many games today are elongated with lackluster side content and boring fluff. Using data from the top games ever made in this video I set out to prove that more content doesn't necessarily mean more fun.
For quite some time I've thought about a video talking about the issue of length in modern games, however if you like this content I would recommend checking out @selfdeficient . He recently made a video on modern gaming that is an absolute masterpiece, and you can tell in my video I've borrowed some stylistic choices from him (including that hilarious thumbnail he had). He touched on game length but also went into huge detail on a bunch of other issues with modern games in one of the most entertaining videos I have seen all year.
