Correct your reverse S shape scoliosis A.K.A. Dextrothoracic, Levolumbar Scoliosis using a chair. I show real-time 3 simple exercises to correct the upper and lower curves by doing specific movements in the transverse, frontal and sagittal planes.
First, preposition your body by keeping your hips still, meaning no rotation going on. One way to stop the rotation is to tense the lower abs while you tuck your pelvis. Remember to keep your back flat and make sure you move your head with these movements because the head is going to be the driver of the spine.
Each motion requires 10 to 15 repetitions and once you master each move, then you can add breathing with intention. This means breathing in and breathing out with the movements, try to open up the upper left side of your back for all the movements.
Combine movement and breathing with each of the movements. It doesn’t matter if you breathe in or out with the movement, but whichever you do make sure to change it for the next set. For example, if you breathe in when your head goes forward in the sagittal plane, you should do that 10 times. Then when you repeat it you switch it up and breathe out when your head goes forward.
