Simplehuman arguably makes the most popular automatic soap dispenser but how does it compare to off brand or more affordable alternatives? There are hundreds of automatic soap dispensers out there its hard to figure out which one is the best. With coronavirus, a lot more people are washing their hands and the idea of not having to touch old school soap by using an auto dispensing soap dispenser makes it that much more appealing. With the overwhelming number of different brands, it is hard to sift through them to accurately find one that is reliable and most importantly, lasts. In this video we review and compare 4 different soap dispensers after months of use. The video included is a basic summary of our findings, but for a more detailed explanation, keep reading:

Solid build, stainless steel, motion detecting works great until it doesn’t. The USB recharger is fairly annoying because the dot has to be aligned and will not work if not upright. You have to look at the front light to see what settings you have the dispenser at while looking at the front light. Fits only 9 oz of soap. In less than 6 months, the 2 units we had were both malfunctioning. We’re actually are on our 2nd return on one unit. For $60.00, it’s not worth it. Customer service has been poor and still waiting on the 2nd replacement and dealing with the other one working only when plugged in with a USB cable. I feel as though this product is name brand with cheap integrated technology.

Plastic body, the black plastic on the top makes it so obvious when you have soap residue on top. The rubber cap on the back will eventually break off when refilling the soap resulting in a rubber cap in your soap dispensers reservoir. This in turn does not let the dispenser suck enough soap out and you will have to compensate by increasing the level of soap. Problem is, now you compensated for the first time you needed soap, but if you need soap immediately after, now you have too much. 4 AA batteries is pretty convenient, large capacity is a plus(15.2 oz) . The touch sensitive button on the top is confusing because you don’t know if you pressed it unless you see the light respond. $27.00 Overall for its price it’s decent.

Our favorite out of the group. Solid build, also stainless steel body. Feels quality when held. The biggest advantage this has compared to the other is that its sensor tracks motion in real-time so when it is dispensing soap, it will recognize when you remove your hand resulting in soap ceasing to dispense. The other dispensers will just stop based on whatever setting it’s on. It uses 4 AAA batteries which is slightly more inconvenient, the capacity of the soap reservoir is low, at a little over 9 oz. the two buttons are extremely responsive and make adjusting the settings so much more easier than the others. However, the scrub that comes with it is useless because it didn’t work for us. But overall, it is the best out of the bunch . Quality product for an affordable price of $37.00

AUGYMER Soap Dispenser: [ Ссылка ]
This soap dispenser has the largest capacity(16.9 oz) and the pictures online are misleading. It is not stainless steel and made from a cheap feeling plastic that looks like tin at first site. The sheen makes it so that any residue is easily seen but the dispenser itself works decently. The button pushes down and adjusting settings is pretty straightforward. Powered by 4 AA batteries. Works as intended, but nothing special. Has the same functions as the simple human, just a cheaper plastic version.
