In July 2023 I hitchhiked to Switzerland with some friends to attend a music festival. After 5 intense and joyful days of dancing, I was looking forward to go wander into the quiet mountains by myself. A woman who was also leaving the festival gave me a ride to the starting point of my hike, a small village called Nufenen and she also gave me some food and a beer :)
I chose to hike along a valley called Val Curciusa until the town San Bernardino. On the entire hike, there were only two occasions on which I briefly passed other hikers. Other than that I didn't see people. It was a very calm and peaceful time.
