Tughlaqabad Fort: An Unnoticed important historical city
Tughlaquabad Fort is one of the important cities of ancient Delhi, which was made by Ghiyas ud Din Tughluq in 1321. He was the founder of Tughlaq Dynasty in Delhi.
He had envisaged making Tughlaqabad as the beautiful capital but it remained unfulfilled as he died before its completion. The Fort, which is situated from 8 km east of Mahrauli Qutub Minar, still attracts visitors and tourist.
The tomb of Ghiyas-ud-Din-Tughluq is situated inside the Fort, which is made from Red stone.
