I was given this Samsung 65" UHD Smart TV that was found on a Chicago alley. It had a broken LCD panel(part that gives the picture).
There was no screws holding the outer shell. I removed the trim and broke most of them while doing this. Removed the speakers and the main board(again, no screws) . I was surprised to find, Power unit coming right up when it was plugged to the wall with the main board disconnected. Removed the broken LCD panel and the cables to it. Put the back cover to cover up the power supply and hold everything together. Taped the sides with aluminum tape (Found on HVAC department on hardware store ) .
