I've always loved the Fuzz Face, but have also always felt it has a few shortcomings. With a few simple tweaks, my version of the classic Germanium Fuzz circuit is brighter and more useable than a standard vintage-style unit.

In this video I compare the different available tones from each pedal, using a Stratocaster and a Vox AC4HW amplifier.

Both pedals were made by me using AC125 germanium transistors with similar gain and bias characteristics. However! No two transistors are exactly alike and there is always some variation present.
