The veteran actor Vinay Apte has passed away due to a prolonged illness. His journey began as a producer in Doordarshan, later he turned towards direction & acting. He proved himself as a multi-talented personality. But people know him best as "Radhache Papa" (Radha's father) from television soap "Eka Lagnachi Dusari Goshta" on Zee Marathi.
