On the south side of the Minster there are up to 65 stalls where you can marvel at the versatile and extraordinary displays of merchants. Here original ceramic and wood works are offered for sale. Next door, exotic fruits, preserved antipasti and fragrant spices promise delicious taste sensations. The market's offer varies depending on the day of the week and the season, as nature dictates: strawberries and asparagus in spring, bright flowers and berries in summer, extraordinary pumpkin varieties and spicy mushrooms in autumn, and all sorts of cabbage specialties and hot chestnuts in winter.
The most beautiful is the Cathedral Square on Saturday morning. The market then provides a lot of life and atmosphere.
The Friborgers have been buying their vegetables from the farmers for generations and have combined this with the "Roten" at the sausage stand. Here is especially Häusler sausage stand recommended.
