The RAE-68 was RCA's 'high-end' home entertainment set in 1930, introduced during the first year of the Great Depression. Unsold cabinets from Victor's VE 10-69 phonograph were 'repurposed' with newer electronics and an improved changer.
It is likely that only a few hundred were ever produced.
