Docent Tour - Korean War Gallery

In this video, our docent Mike Styka walks us through the Korean War Gallery. The gallery reflects the Marine Corps’ role in the Korean conflict.

The two main events highlighted are the amphibious landing at Inchon (September 1950) and the Battle of Chosin Reservoir (November 1950). Mike talks about these key events and includes other points of interest such as the role of the Tootsie Roll at Chosin, baseball legend and Marine aviator, Ted Williams, and the story of the heroic horse, Sgt Reckless.
