This is a demo of the Trinity Tramp, a tube amplifier made by Trinity Amps. Highly recommended if you're in the market for a great small combo amp or head that provides a ton of versatility. It comes either as a fully built amp, or as a kit.
The amp features a single 12AX7 preamp tube + 1 power tube that is configurable to be either 6V6, 6L6 (and substitutes), EL34, KT66, KT88. It has Volume, Bass, Treble, and Master controls. Additionally there's a Power Level control, 2 push/pull knobs (Tweed/Tude and Fat/Thin), and a Preamp Boost (PAB) footswitch. These features all combine for a highly versatile amp with a wide range of tones spanning classic Fender and Marshall sounds, as well as heavier overdrive Boogie-esque sounds. It delivers up to 12W, depending on the tube selection and Power Level setting.
In this video, I give you a taste of all of that, with 8 samples, spanning a range of styles, each about a minute long, using 7 different guitars and 4 tunings. This should give you an idea of what the Tramp is capable of doing.
