The elusive Theraphosa blondi - the Goliath Brazilian Bird Eater - a species we were able to see during our expedition in Suriname a year ago. Check out the footage of this remarkable hairy specimen from the lowland rain forests of Suriname. Unlike the specimens from French Guyana or Brasil, the ones shown here have a much hairier patella. Let's find out what the future will tell! Maybe it's an all new species of Bird Eater Tarantula :)
