This video introduces SI Units and derived units for GCSE Physics. There are seven base units used in physics from which all the others can be derived. SI Units come from the International System of Units and these are the units of measurement that every country in the world uses.
The seven base units are: metres, kilograms, seconds, amperes, kelvins, moles and candelas. There are many more derived units than base units and these include: metres per second, newtons per kilogram and kilograms per cubic metre.
