This is a clip of one of Mirai Nagasu's triple Axels in the 2018 Winter Olympics. Mirai Nagasu was the third American woman to perform the triple Axel. She was the first U.S. woman to perform the triple Axel in Olympic competition. She is an extremely powerful skater and so much can be told from the way she carries herself after landing the triple Axel. Landing after the tremendous force used to jump the triple Axel takes a lot of strength and Mirai landed it swiftly and gracefully.
