Gousan Shahen's song "Almast," performed by Mariam Matossian.
We learn from the first lines that the heroine has wrapped her head with shawl on which a piece of diamond is shining and her hair is loose, covering her face mole. Her breasts are compared to a pair of doves in her heavenly bosom.
In the next stanza the singer says that his beloved girl is a hero in the village fields. Thus he praises diligence by which his beloved girl is known in their village. She is an unfading flower amid fragrant roses. She is unique because she is unfading, and she is more dear to him than roses.
Then it is said that the heavenly dew has descended on her hair and is falling drop by drop onto the black mole of her breast. One can assume that he saw the girl early in the morning because there is dew in the morning. In the end it is said that this song is an image of the girl’s beautiful appearance, charm and attraction which penetrates into his soul and then pours out like a crane flock from the cords of his lyre.
