Steps to make
Ingredients:
1/2 Cup + 2 Tbsp Organic India Desi Ghee
6- 8 Almonds
6- 8 Cashews
5-6 Ripe Bananas
1 Cup Organic India Jaggery Powder
1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
Rose Petals, Finely Chopped Dried Fruits for Garnish
Directions:
1. In a pan, add Organic India Desi Ghee and roast almonds and cashews till golden brown. Keep the nuts aside.
2. Chop your ripe/overripe bananas and blend till you achieve a smooth consistency.
3. Add the blended bananas to the same pan and start cooking on medium flame. Continue to stir and reduce the banana paste.
4. While that is cooking, in a separate pan combine Organic India jaggery powder and 2-3 tbsp water. Cook till the jaggery is dissolved and thickened a little.
5. Add the melted jaggery to the bananas and stir thoroughly.
6. Add 2 tbsp of Organic India Desi Ghee and mix till incorporated.
7. Continue to cook for another 30 minutes until it comes together to form a fudge-like consistency.
8. Put cardamom powder, chopped roasted cashews, and almonds and mix again.
9. Once the mixture starts to leave the sides, transfer to a mold of your choice and set it at room temperature for 2-3 hours.
10. Once set, garnish with chopped dried fruits and rose petals. Serve.
