Bengaluru (Karnataka), Aug 27 (ANI): Pro-Kannada activists staged a protest outside Raj Bhavan in Karnataka’s Bengaluru on Monday over their demand of relief funds for flood-hit areas. The activists demanded Rs 20,000 crore as relief funds for restructuring the flood devastated parts of the state. They also demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi pay a visit. Incessant rains have lashed Karnataka since August 14, causing landslide and flooding in the state. On August 15, a high alert was issued in five districts namely Kodagu, Dakshina Kannada, Hassan, Chikkamagaluru and Shivamogga. More than 6,600 people have been shifted to relief camps.
