INGREDIENTS
4 cups (946 ml) water
1 cinnamon stick
3 to 4 allspice berries
3 to 4 whole cloves
12 oz (354 ml) evaporated milk
2 oz (56 g) piloncillo (or dark brown sugar)
3.1 oz (88 g) tablet of Mexican hot chocolate
1/3 cup (40 g) instant corn flour for masa
1/2 cup (118 ml) water
1/4 tsp salt
