The Whistle Blowers Protection (Amendment) Bill, 2015 seeks to plug shortcomings which could adversely affect the functioning of the government. No disclosures by whistle blowers will be allowed relating to cabinet papers and privileged information. No person will be required to render any assistance in any inquiry under the law if it impacts exemptions.The proposed amendments also discourage leaks by officers of the Govt.
