Today I'm working on restoring my gravel driveway. When we moved to our property, I knew that one of the larger maintenance tasks the property was the long gravel driveway on a hill. This is one of the jobs I had in mind when I chose my Kioti 2610 tractor and my first tractor implements. I knew I had to get the box blade.

Here I am a year later and I have done no work on the rock driveway. There are large ruts in places and the delivery trucks *always* spin out in them and make them worse. Since I had the week off for the holidays, I thought it was the perfect time to maintain the gravel driveway and repair some of the rough spots.

*Disclaimer* It is my first time box blading a driveway. This was a lot of work and definitely a learning experience. I learned a lot of lessons this time around that will definitely improve my driveway maintenance in the future. But, all in all, I'm happy with the way the driveway turned out. I leveled out the trouble spots and gave it a fresh layer of rock on top. I'll call this a successful project.
