27 Gauge Vitrectomy Surgery for Macular Hole.
Otherwise also called as "Pin-Point Vitrectomy Surgery" since the surgery is Minimally Invasive and is done through the Smallest Possible Incision available in the world, coupled with the most high end and advanced Vitrectomy System i.e Constellation Vision System. The surgery is of a Macular Hole in which Internal Limiting membrane is Peeled and the Macular Hole is closed. The case is closed with 20% SF6 gas tamponade to insure hole closure. The patient is required to maintain prone/face down position in the post-operative period.
