How to play In the Mood on guitar as performed by Robbie Blunt for Robert Plant. I cover the rhythm guitar parts, the guitar solo, and why the type of pick you use is important to getting the sound you hear on the record.
Another great set of guitar parts and fantastic guitar solo by an incredibly creative and underrated guitar player, Robbie Blunt. His clean sparkly Fender strat tones on the early Robert Plant solo records really create a unique soundscape that you just didn't hear on radio or see on MTV in the 80s.
It left a strong impression on me as a 14 year old starting to find my way on the guitar, so I wanted to breakdown these parts to share with others who also want to learn how to play it like the record.
