Who lurks within the subconscious of man
A fiend who plants its parasitic seed 
Within the blood of every vein it can

It warps the mind with poison to the soul 
And leaves a man to ruin and forlorn
Of everything he knew and could control
And only then is he to be reborn

With breaking bones contorting as they grow 
And muscles twisting into foreign shapes
A creature spawns with yellow eyes that glow 
In hunger through the fog of midnight drapes

Equipped with instincts made to k*ll, the feast
Begins beneath the mournful, scarlet moon
The scent of salt and iron thrills the beast
As mothers of dismembered sons now plead and croon

The snapping jaws have splintered skulls and limbs 
And leave the strongest men in scattered pieces

The tortured bones retract once more into
