Since he has received minutes in the Houston Rockets' rotation, Cam Whitmore has been an excellent scorer off the bench. His scoring efficiency, especially from the 3-point line, has been somewhat unexpected, and he has been very consistent throughout all his games. He still needs to improve in decision-making, court vision, and defensive consistency, but it's clear that the comparisons made with Jaylen Brown coming out of the draft were quite accurate.

In his rookie year, Cam Whitmore has averaged 12.3 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 0.7 apg on 45.4 FG% and 35.9 3P% in just 18.7 minutes per game.
